1. Account holder is responsible

The person who signed in is responsible for everything uploaded under that account, including images uploaded by family members or shared devices using the same login. Don't share your account with anyone you wouldn't trust to be careful with the upload button.

2. No minors without parental consent

Hello Playdate is built for parents to make print booklets out of family photos. Anyone under 13 must use this service only with a parent or guardian who has accepted these terms on their behalf. Anyone 13–17 must have a parent's permission to use the service. By accepting, you represent you meet this requirement.

3. No abusive or illegal content

Don't upload anything that's illegal where you live or where the host operates, and don't upload content depicting child sexual abuse, non-consensual intimate imagery, gore, harassment, or material that glorifies real-world violence. Doing so will result in immediate account termination, retention of evidence per law, and reporting to the relevant authorities (NCMEC for CSAM, hosting partners for violations of their AUP). The hosting partner of this service may also take independent action.

4. We may remove content and accounts

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms, suspend or delete any account, and refuse service for any reason. Reports of violations can be sent to [email protected].

5. Retention disclosure

Uploaded images and generated outlines are deleted from the host's disks 7 days after creation. Cached PDFs are deleted on the same schedule. Booklet rows persist until you delete them; archived booklets are hard-deleted 30 days later. Usage events (counts of generations + cost estimates) are retained for 90 days. You can delete your account at any time from the settings panel.

6. fal.ai third-party processing

Image generation runs on fal.ai. To make this work, every photo you generate from is sent to fal.ai's servers (encoded inline in the request body) and they return an outline image to us. By accepting these terms you also agree to fal.ai's terms and privacy policy as a downstream processor of those images. We do not pay fal.ai on your behalf — your account on this service is linked to your own fal.ai key.

7. No warranty

This service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. If you depend on a specific outline or PDF for any time-sensitive purpose, save a local copy.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated. Material changes will require you to re-accept on your next sign-in.
